Welcome to the beta release of metaCuisine.com. Well actually, at the moment this is the in-progress beta release for the
site. Everything from the layout to the navigation to the content is under development. Not everything is in place yet,
and many parts of the site are in a transitional state. Nonetheless, we did want to put the site out on the web in its current
form and hope it will be of interest and use while its evolving.

Metacuisine.com aims to become the best place to find restaurant, food and beverage related information on the internet. That
means information that is local, relevant, accurate and easy to find and view. That's an ambitious goal, but one we believe in.
There are many sites on the web that provide this type of information, but no one site that succeeds in tying together all the information
that enthusiasts of food, dining and beverages are looking for. We know this from personal experience and hope to make
metaCuisine.com the first and only place you need to go. We have a long way to go to achieve this vision but have the passion
and expertise to do so.
Why metaCuisine? By metaCusine, we mean information about all culinary facets, whether it be restaurants, ingredients,
beverages, cooking, recipies or anything related to eating and drinking as a source of pleasure. This is a vast field of interest,
which we intend to cover in an evolving manner based on the needs and interests of our readers. Initially, metaCuisine will
offer restaurant listings and reviews as well as featured content relevant to the culinary enthusiast but will evolve
gracefully and rapidly into a range of features that will provide useful information on all things related to cuisine.
We are located in Vancouver, B.C. and our initial releases will focus on Vancouver metro restaurants. As our site and community
grow, we will be adding other cities and metro areas. Initial restaurant reviews for Whistler B.C., Victoria B.C. and Seattle WA will
be available soon. Beyond that, metaCuisine will expand to include any city where there are culinary enthusiasts to contribute
content and an audience to read that content.
Remember, this is just the beginning. Metacuisine.com will be adding features and optimizing the site on a regular basis. Key features that will be added in the near future include:
